Sam S. Guest


Sam S. Guest graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Real Estate.

In 1975 Mr. Guest went to work as a broker with Ackerman and Company. In his first three years hesold over 10 million dollars in income property. In 1980 Mr. Guest became a partner at Clark Harrison and Company where he was responsible for development and leasing for over 1,000,000 square feet of office space in East Atlanta.

In 1987 Sam became a partner at OA Development and was responsible for the development of over 1.8 million square feet and has negotiated leases valued at over $85 million throughout the State of Georgia. His private sector clients included Bordens, Inc., Toys 'R' Us, BellSouth Services, and Nestlé's.

In keeping with Sam's passion for the public sector real estate development, he teamed up with Margaret Bowen in 2001 to establish Forum Development Services. Forum Development Services was organized specifically to compete for public sector development work.

In 2004, Mr. Guest and Ms. Bowen partnered with Don E. Chandler to form Forum Municipal Development Services. The combined accomplishements of the Forum MDS partners is completing four new build-to-suit facilities on time and on budget. In addition, there are currently three new projects in progress, including Liberty County DFCS to be delivered in May 2012.

Mr. Guest currently serves on the Board of Georgia Center for Children. Mr. Guest and his wife Susan reside in Stone Mountain, GA, and have four children, Michael, Marshall, Caroline and Courtney.
